Only one hour from home & a cosy, well appointed, country lodge at our disposal for a relaxing, winter weekend in the Peak District. The swimming pool is such an attraction for the family & the restaurant offering take-away as well as a good sit-in menu makes for a real break from the chores.

This is a lovely site, peaceful with great views and close to lots of local attractions. The swimming pool and on site Coach House were a bonus, the food was delicious!

Known as the 'Gateway to the Peak District' Ashbourne is a market town in Derbyshire, England. It is situated near to Kniveton, Parwich, Ilam, and Hulland Ward and is one of over fifty towns and villages in Derbyshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are Derby (population 229,407), Sheffield (population 439,866), and Nottingham (which has a population of 249,584 according to the 2001 Census).
The town itself has a number of historical buildings in it and it offers the visitor plenty of interest with good shops, restaurants, pubs and parkland, as well as cycling trails along the now disused railway line which used to run through here.
